Wokka Technologies Nigeria Ltd, headquartered in Abuja is a technology services company that connects consumers with local service providers to facilitate easy access to, and payment for on-demand services across multiple service categories, through the use of its proprietary mobile application technology, Wokka. The company, through the Wokka app, provides its users with tools, services and content, including verification of service providers and reviews to help consumers search, identify and hire local service providers and pay for services with reliability and confidence.
Your Role
The Operations Manager is responsible for facilitating day to day operations within the region(s) to which he or she is assigned. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of leading successful local and/or regional marketing and sales campaigns individually or as a team leader. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Recruiting and coordinating a team of sales staff for app promotion and onboarding campaigns on a daily basis to achieve performance targets
- Verification of Service Providers upon onboarding or when changes are made to service profiles
- Continuous Monitoring of Service Providers and associated projects and dealing with quality, performance or other queries for all accounts within your region of coverage
- Seeking out Partnership s with Service Companies, Advertising Agencies or Sponsor Accountable for meeting sales targets established by Regional Manager
- Identify and recommend new Service Categories in support of program expansion efforts
- Act as subject matter expert on App’s services within regions to which he/she is assigned
- Address client or service issues with Sales personnel to whom he/she is assigned
- Participate and/or present on sales performance in weekly regional sales meetings
- Participate in testing of app enhancements, beta versions or bug fixes
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 Years of Operations Management or Sales Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing, Operations or Mass Communications
- Superior sales, communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to present in clear concise English language
Preferred Skills:
- Fluency in more than one major Nigerian language
- Ability to develop and incorporate statistical sales projections and forecasts in presentation material
- Ability to develop and utilize data visualization tools like Microsoft BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Qlik View or similar for sales projections and forecasts
- Experience managing people and processes at a fast paced, results driven company
